Summary[]
Sonic the Hedgehog is a video game franchise created and produced by Sega. The franchise centers on a series of speed-based platform games. The protagonist of the series is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog named Sonic, whose peaceful life is often interrupted by the series' main antagonist, Doctor Eggman. Typically, Sonic, usually along with some of his friends, such as Tails, Amy, and Knuckles, must stop Eggman and foil any plans of world domination.
The first game in the series, released in 1991, was conceived by Sega's Sonic Team division after Sega requested a mascot character. The title was a success, it spawned many sequels, and it transformed Sega into a leading video game company during the 16-bit era in the early to mid 1990s.
Powers of the Verse[]
Sonic is a very powerful verse. Characters in the Classic games are capable of one-shotting City level structures and dodge light at Relativistic+ speeds. Characters in the Modern games reach Large Planet level due to scaling from the Chaos Emeralds, which can move continents and shatter worlds. Modern characters can also dodge projectiles while moving Massively FTL+.
There are incredibly powerful weapons on this verse, the most notable ones being the Chaos Emeralds, seven emeralds with the ability to manipulate time and space, which can scale from Multiverse level feats. Other example is Excalibur, which greatly increases the user's stats, as well as granting them the ability to reflect magical attacks and break magical barriers.
The most powerful characters on this verse can reach up to Tier 2, which includes Alf Layla wa-Layla being able to recreate universes, the Dark Queen being able to manipulate entire timelines, the Time Eater being able to erase timelines and turn them into white voids, the Egg Wizard holding the power that hold together the Multiverse, or Solaris being able to consume all timeline in the Multiverse.
The Multiverse in Sonic is a 2-B structure due to Maginaryworld, a higher dimensional reality in which every dream anyone has ever had created a new separate universe, which places the total number of universes at a minimum of billions.
